An eSIM is a digital SIM card that lets you connect to mobile networks without using a physical card. It makes switching plans easier, works on many new phones, and can be set up in just a few simple steps.

Your device must be eSIM-compatible and network-unlocked. The quickest check is to dial *#06# and see whether an EID appears. On iPhone, check Settings > General > About; on Samsung, check Settings > Connections > SIM Manager; on Pixel, check Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs.

After successful payment, your eSIM QR code and installation details are usually delivered shortly by email and shown on the order details page. Make sure the checkout email is correct, and check spam or promotions folders if the email does not arrive.

We recommend buying before departure and installing on stable Wi-Fi. After arrival, select Skylano eSIM for mobile data and enable data roaming according to the plan instructions. Validity timing depends on the plan: many start after first connecting to a supported local network, while some may start after installation.

Connect to Wi-Fi, then open Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data > Add eSIM > Use QR Code, scan the Skylano QR code, and follow the on-screen steps. If scanning is not possible, use manual entry and enter the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from your order.

Android menu names vary by brand and system version. On Samsung, use Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM. On Pixel, use Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Add SIM or Download a SIM. Scan the order QR code, select Skylano eSIM for mobile data, and enable roaming if required.

Yes, if your device supports Dual SIM. You can keep your regular SIM active for calls, SMS, and verification codes while using Skylano eSIM for mobile data. Your home line may still charge roaming fees for calls or SMS abroad.

Do not delete an eSIM unless you are sure you no longer need it, because many QR codes can only be installed once. A travel eSIM usually cannot be transferred after installation or activation. Refund eligibility depends on whether the eSIM has been delivered, installed, activated, or used. Contact Skylano support with your order number as soon as possible.
